Forms Portal not activated

Customer has forms and later purchased forms portal. 

They have Rio. 

When renewing licenses, Product is not licensed. (LFDS10)(LMO4)

Manually activated the Rio license with ActivationTool.

Restarted Services.

But there is no option in the Forms application about Portal.

Chase,

 

You will need to re-register the instance for forms and then select Forms Portal option in the instance.  If you are using LFDS, then you can open the instance to add Forms portal to the instance, and then re-generate the lf.licx for forms.

The option to check Forms Portal is not there.

Any other reasons this may not be valid?  Renewing the license is not updating the Forms application to showing the check box for Forms Portal.

I've looked to see if the activation site is being blocked on the TCP/IP level and port 443 and port 80.

Everything looks ok there.

This is a question for tech support. They can verify the customers license that's getting activated and ensure everything is correct there.

Are you sure the license is being renewed? Or does it just show a spinner indefinitely? If the renewal doesn't give you a success message, you could try the procedure described here. If it is definitely being renewed, then please do as Miruna suggested, and contact support with the customer's name.

No I do not think it is being renewed.  Using ActivationTool to get the license and restarting services doesn't update even though it's stating successful.

Manually entering in the license file in Directory Server gives the Error "When renewing licenses, Product is not licensed. (LFDS10)(LMO4)" As before.

There could be something else creating the issue here. I know their 443 and 80 ports are open if there were any possible communication issues to the activation.laserfiche.com is Rio is querying that.

If that does not work for you, you should open a support case to further troubleshoot.

Yes I have tried this.  Although I have not tried to remove all applications and renew the license then re-add the applications.  Possible there is a version issue under one of the applications restricting the update of the license.

I will be able to test again this afternoon and will update on that.
