I have 5 RIO full licenses assigned to a repository server. these licenses need to be removed from the server so I can use them with Active Directory. I appears I should be able to do this through the Directory Service console. I can add move but how do I remove them? the attachment shows the assignment from the Admin Console and the section from LFDS which shows not assignments. Documentation seems spotty. It appears I may have to redo the license. What do I do?

Convert Repository Named Users to Active Directory Users

You need to regenerate the Laserfiche Server license after removing the users, replace it on the Laserfiche Server and restart the service.
I haven't generated a license file in a long time. How do I do this?
I see another link https://answers.laserfiche.com/questions/53543/How-do-you-move-Repository-Named-Users-to-Directory-Named-Users
that says I should be able to change the Full Repository Name Users in LFDS. It appears to just use up another license instead of reducing the number assigned. Am I supposed to enter negative numbers?
The number is not automatically reduced. You need to manually change it.
The application list shows you the current allocations:
You can click Edit to change the number of assigned users and Get License to download the license.
When you click Edit, the repository named users are listed under Advanced Options
Reduce the number appropriately. The number you enter should be the number of repository users you want to keep, no negative numbers.
After you save the change, download the license, place it in the install directory for the Laserfiche Server and restart the service.
My screenshot of the server does not show as much as your screenshot shows. I just updated last week. I should be current. I do not see the license assignments
I want one license assigned so I entered 1. the remaining licenses below changed to -1 in red. will I be able to save this? Are the licenses actually available?
