I have a customer where snapshot will change to 600 dpi instead of what it was set as which is 300 dpi. This changes when trying to snapshot e.g. a web page. I know that there was a fix for this which was setting the snapshot printer to being the default printer, though is there any other resolution for this? This is not an issue with Snapshot, but rather how third party applications get the default DPI of a printer being used.
That being said, if Snapshot is not the default printer in Windows and you would still like to use the default DPI configured for the Snapshot printer, then open the Snapshot Configuration. Under the "General" tab, click on "Preferences". In the Laserfiche Snapshot Printing Preferences dialog, under the "Device Settings" tab, go into the "Graphic resolution" section and make sure to select the option "Force printer DPI" and save the changes.
