import agent licensing/upgrade

Import Agent Laserfiche Licensing Installation and Upgrades

Hi all,

I am trying to upgrade import agent in a customer's site.
They currently have import agent  8.1.1. When running the Import Agent installer 9.0 I get an error stating that there is no valid license.
Does Import Agent require a different license to be enabled/installed?

Hi Andres,

 

Are you using the activation key during the install? If it's a straightforward upgrade then it should just deactivate and reactivate during the install. Are you sure IA is not installed and activated somewhere else on the network? How many activations show on your LSAP card on the license screen?

Hi justin,

 

Sorry I am not receiving email alerts anymore when someone replies.

 

I dont know if i did right but when i went to the Client's LF licenses, there was no license for this client under Import Agent. The space was blank..

I clicked on Generate Key and then i applied this license in the upgrade. It worked and upgraded Import Agent.
