Team Analyst Role able to reassign tasks

Hi all,

I was looking at the recent changes, and noticed this under June:
 

  • The Team Analyst role is now able to reassign tasks assigned to other users in a team. (518642)
  • Tasks can now only be released by a user if they have the ability to reassign, or if it is assigned to them. (518894)

 

Is this supposed to work when participant license users are assigned to a team, and assigned the Analyst role?

Good morning Tesia,

Thank you for your answer. Participant users used to be able to release an assigned team task to the team and then reassign it to themselves in the IOS/Android app. Do you know why that was removed? In my March comment, I described the steps to do so within the mobile app and how it didn't work on the browser. This was brought to my attention recently as staff tried to do it and weren't able to. I tried it as well and confirmed it doesn't work anymore.

We currently use Laserfiche as a way to document daily QC completion. It's rare, but staff sometimes assign themselves forms and forget to do them and leave for the day. I have to go in and reassign it back to the team. It would be great if that was part of the participant license.

Currently, Participant users are given the rights needed to participate from a submitter perspective on a forms process. This includes the ability to release the task back to a team but it does not include the ability to re-assign a task directly to an individual or team. The user would need a full license and the Team Analyst role to directly re-assign the task to an individual or team. 

We are looking in to ways to expand this user type so we will take this in to consideration. If there are specific use cases for your organization for this user type/process combination, please let me know in the comments below.

There are two posts that are related to what I'm asking but have yet to get a response.
One user replied to a Laserfiche user back in June and didn't get a response. I have replied back to the other thread back in March and got ignored.

It used to work in the IOS App and now it doesn't.
