Laserfiche 11 February 2023 Update ISO File?

asked on February 24, 2023

I was pleasantly surprised this morning to see the Laserfiche 11 February 2023 Update was released on the Support Site. I was a bit more surprised to see that when I downloaded the Laserfiche 11 package it is now an ISO file. And even more surprised when I tried to install it in our Test environment, and it asked me to load the Laserfiche Server 11.0 Installation Disc 1.

We're looking into it, but I was not able to reproduce the issue, though we had another report of it internally.

If you still have the install logs, please send them to Tech Support. They'll be in %temp%\laserfiche\install\Server. Don't post them here as they may have sensitive info.

Was this an install or an upgrade?

This was an upgrade from 11.0.0.206. Yes, I do have the install logs and will get those over to my SP.

Thanks, that will help confirm a few things for us. So far it looks like it's only an issue with upgrades for LFS and only when running direct from the mounted ISO. If you copy the installer out to a local or network drive, the upgrade succeeds.

Hello Miruna,

I am able to reproduce this. Do you need us to open a case on this or has it already been identified?

Yes, please if you have the log file. It will help us confirm that we identified the problem correctly.

I was able to copy the files out of the ISO and run the install correctly.

@████████ there is a note at the top of this KB article that talks about the error.

Thanks. I just copied the files to disk and upgraded without error.
