Does anyone have an issue with Fujitsu 7160 Scanners with Laserfiche desktop version 10.2 or 10.4 with use of scan connect drivers. Several issues:
1. Shared PC's - The scanner license is connected to the PC, and users have individual Laserfiche full access licenses. When each user logs onto the PC and opens the scan function the scanner is either unavailable or when they try to use it, it does not work and locks up the PC. Also, the scanner settings do not save so that they are set across users.
2. Individual connections - For some individuals who are the single user of a PC/Scanner, the scanner won't show up or be recognized by the machine. Users often have to restart computer multiple times. This started occurring more after PS was updated to Windows 11.
Wondering if anyone has experienced these issues, have any recommended fixes. Is it possible there are conflicts with Windows 11, or with shared PC devices? Our scanners are 5-6 years old, is there possibly a newer scanner or updated software/firmware that may assist. IT is constantly having to address issues, remove and recreate user profiles, etc. for individual users. Our main reseller has been assisting but to no avail.
