Change default volume in the Laserfiche

Hi Community,

 

Can someone please tell me is there any way we can change the default volume for all the users through Administration console or something else?

I did tried to select all more than 230000+ folders in the repository and then change the Volume through Tools/Options/New Document settings, but it is not getting reflected on the users Laserfiche instance.

I have to manually set up their default import settings(using Tools/Options/New Document) on their application one by one. 

Is there an easy and more efficient way of doing this as we have about 1100+ users.

Note: We have some folders that have been created as permanent volume.

Hi Faraz,

 

You can set this by right clicking the root of the repository and going to properties then the folder tab:-

 

 

Assuming all folders inherit it will filter through.

 

Note:- This only works for new users, for existing users with existing attributes, this will need to be updated for each user manually or though a SQL update query.
