I would like Laserfiche support to consider avoiding the use of FTP for file downloads. Our network security severely restricts using FTP, so its much more difficult for me to download these files and prep them for our server admins. 

Could we use HTTPS or whatever mechanism is used for the large Rio/Avante downloads?

All the hotfixes and patches listed in KB articles use FTP.
