new laptop has error 782 Invalid host name

Installed 9.1.0 client on new laptop. Shows the repository on Refresh. In Attach with Network repository selected (which the other machines use) it says no servers found although it lists the Laserfiche server.

Can you ping the Laserfiche server machine?  Is there a difference if you use the machine name or the fqdn?

Yes server can be pinged either method. By name brought up  fe80::3f7b:15e2:ff6c:4d4a%16: and by IP listed the IP.

Other machines on the Domain network can access the Repository without difficulty.
