Administration Installation and Upgrades Laserfiche Licensing

We have installed new LF Avante server.

When trying to create new repository, it gives 9052 error message.

In the event logs, I can see this error:

"Repository creation error. The specified DBMS for the repository is not licensed for use with this copy of Laserfiche"

The SQL Server is installed at the same machine/vm: SQL Server 2012 11.0.6020

We have experienced this issue at two different environments.

Any ideas guys?

This usually happens when you are not licensed for full SQL Server and are trying to create a repository using SQL instead of SQL Express.

Thanks for reply.

This is an Evaluation license, so do you think this could be the reason that this is licensed for sql express and not full sql?

I am just trying sql express. Will update you with results.

I have installed SQL Express and can create repository successfully.
