Hi,
Regarding this question
https://answers.laserfiche.com/questions/47116/Adding-annotations-to-documents
Now can we add or edit annotations to Laserfiche documents using the Mobile app version 10?
According to the release notes posted so far
"Sticky notes, stamps, and the freehand annotation can now be added to a document and modified with the Android and iOS Laserfiche app."
Hello,
The release notes list the requirements and known issues. Here are the new features and changes to the Laserfiche 10.2 app. And yes, Steve is correct, those 3 annotations can be added and modified in the Android and iOS app. Also, sticky notes and stamps can be added and modified using the Windows app.
We completed an upgrade to take adavantage of the annotations. Seems now we are having trouble viewing documents with the new version. 10.2.0.800. I can go into documents once or twice and then it fails to view. I have tried PDF's, TIFF's and word doc's and the result is the same. What could be causing this? A setting on the Ipad maybe? Also it won't let me log out?? Thoughts?
I also got the attached message error when trying to open documents is this related?
Hello Nadine,
Would you be able to try the following?
1) on the Mobile App Server, please restart your IIS. if that isn't possible, can you restart your MobileAppPool?
2) then force close your App and launch it again.
3) does this occur for all users? or just only some?
This has been completed but the issues remains. This is affecting all users who have done the upgrade.
Would you be able to open a support case and we can work further into this issue. Thank you and sorry for any trouble/inconvenience this may have caused.
I have asked our Lead on this project to open a support case. Thank you for your fast responses. I anticipate that this will be resolved in a timely matter.
no problem. Once we have figured out the issue, I'll update the thread here, in case any other users run into the same issue. They will then at least know how to resolve or know what the issue is.
The hotfix released yesterday addressed these issues.
