Forms v10 - Browse a Laserfiche repository to upload a file to attach to a web form

asked on June 12, 2016

In previous versions of Forms (v9) we were able to upload a Laserfiche file and attached into a form using the Web Dav configuration.

We can not do that on Forms v10.

Can you help us to find out how we may accomplish this functionality?? Does anyone knows how to do that?

You can not do that on Forms 10 because you are not able to configure Web Dav for Laserfiche repository?

Right

We been trying and that was not possible. When we tried to configure the WebDav, many errors appeared, situations like: Web Access stop working, forms stop working, etc.

Our project demands to use a form and load a document from the repository.

How can you help?

You install Laserfiche Server/Forms/Web Access on the same machine? Did you do that with Forms 9 as well? There does have issue when the machine installed Forms has WebDAV enabled for both 9 and 10. You can try install Laserfiche Server on another machine and configure WebDAV for it.

Yes, everything is in the same server. Would it also impact in the Forms performance? Forms runs too slow.

For Forms is too slow, can you check whether it will become faster if you disable NetBIOS as https://answers.laserfiche.com/questions/99462/Speed-up-Forms

WebDAV takes over port 80, so IIS no longer works. You need to set up your web server to use a different port if you want to have WebDAV and web applications on the same machine.
