PKI and CAC (Common Access Card) Login

asked on June 2, 2016 Show version history

I have a potential client that would like to know if logging in would be any different for them logging into Laserfiche if they use these cards.  My initial thought is it would have no affect on laserfiche. These cards simply get plugged into their computer to allow them the ability to log in.  Has anyone run into this before?

I have DOD customers that all use CAC cards, and are using Laserfiche with them.  The CAC card is simply a security level that validates that the user is in fact who they say they are, when they log onto their computer.  Once they have authenticated, they are just like any other Windows Account User within Laserfiche.   If you would like referral names, contact me at BAvilla@DataVentures.biz
