1. Production machine LF Version 9.2.1
2. Development machine LF Version 9.2.1
3. take backup of production repository and database
4. restore repository and database on development machine
5. upgrade development machine LF version to 10.1

Client will test this for a 2 week.

Now to upgrade production machine to LF 10.1 and make the repository identical for production and development we need to take backup of production and need to restore on development.

Now the question is: once the development machine is upgraded to 10.1 (all components are upgraded to 10.1) and production machine is still on 9.2.1, Can we restore repository and database of 9.2.1 to 10.1? It means if I again register 9.2.1 repository and database to 10.1, will update process do necessary changes to repository and database behind the scene or it will not perform necessary changes again because all the components are already upgraded?
