Windows XP & Laserfiche 10.1

Hi All,

 

Trying to install Laserfiche 10.1.0.151 on various windows XP workstations and receiving the following error:-

 

 

Is 10.1 supported on XP?

if you go to the current LF Administration Help file and check out the Laserfiche Client Preinstallation Checklist, you will find the minimums l list below:

 

Minimum Software Specifications

Operating system:

Windows Vista (Service Pack 2)

Windows Server 2008 (Service Pack 2)

Windows 7

Windows Server 2008 R2

Windows 8

Windows 8.1

Windows Server 2012

Windows Server 2012 R2

Windows 10

Web browser:Internet Explorer 8 or later

I thought as much, just wasn't in a position to check on site. Like Nigel says below I can use an older client or more realistically get the customer to upgrade off XP.

Sorry, XP has been officially dead for 2 years now. 9.2.1 is the last version of Laserfiche that supports it. We are no longer testing version 10 and higher  software on XP. Installers check for the minimum supported OS versions and will not work on XP.

Not ideal long term but you can run 9.2.1 which will install on XP SP3.
