Generate activation key

Hello all,

 

I just want to be sure. We have to install a Laserfiche Avante Server for a customer. When I logged in Laserfiche support website and take a look at "My Activation Keys" link I can see an array but the Activation Key column have only link to generate those keys.

My question is : Is there more steps if I generate the keys from my laptop rather than straight from the customer's server ?

There shouldn't be a difference where you generate the key from when accessing the support site with your VAR account. If after clicking on generate key and the key does not appear go ahead and refresh the page or select the account again in the drop down list.

it's just generating the key in the support site, i did this for a customer a few days before i did the install just to make sure i had everything ready.
