Question

Admin Console is not registering that licenses are in use

asked on May 9, 2016 Show version history

When looking at the Admin Console, it shows that there are 16 Full Repository User Named Licenses allocated but 0 are in use when in fact there are some in use. Why would it show that there aren't any in use? I have attached an image to show what I am referring to.

Thank You

What are the some in use?  Admin account?  Named devices?  If you just added them hit F5 for a refresh but find out what the users are logged in as (can check the current sessions node).

The two values can be a little misleading:

 * Allocated - the number of repository named user licenses avaliable to this Laserfiche Server instance. In the Laserfiche Rio environment, this would be the number of named user slots you specifically assigned to the Laserfiche Server environment.

  * In use - the number of the above set that have actually been assigned to any specific trustee. This is NOT a measure of how many are currently connected or anything along those lines.

Note that in both cases we're just talking about the user slots allocated to this specific Laserfiche Server from the Directory Server. Connections that do not require a named user allocation (such as the workflow user account), or connections using Laserfiche or Domain/directory accounts defined in the Directory Server, are not covered here since they weren't allocated out of that specific Laserfiche Server's pool.
