Unattended Installs How to Apply a Hotfix

asked on April 4, 2016

For my Laserfiche 10 client install I was recently directed to uninstall the client and reinstall the client, OCR Omnipage 18.5, and apply a hotfix.

If I am packaging a client 10 install for deployment using Group Policy how do I reference installation of the hotfix in my command string? Or do I have to install the hotfix separately?

If you're installing through setup itself (instead of individual msi's), the patch .msp files will be automatically run as part of the install operation, regardless if run directly or through group deployment. If you are installing msi's individually, you can install msp's individually with msiexec /p reinstall commands (http://support.attachmate.com/techdocs/1885.html).
