Windows credentials not working with 'this account' option

Hi all,

My customer is using directory named user (i.e domainname\username & password) to log in to LF Client and Snapshot.

When login to Snapshot, the 'This account' option is used and the domainname\username & password is used, but the error message 'The user login or password is incorrect.' is prompted. Does the 'This account' option work only for the Repository Named User and Named Device? Why does the prompt error message occurs? Is the prompt error message a known issue when using windows credentials and the 'This account' option to login to Snapshot?

The version currently used is 9.1.1.548.

Please advise.

Hi Sheila,

Starting with Laserfiche 9.2.1 SP1, Snapshot will now allow you to log in using manually specified Windows credentials. Please see KB 1013659 for more information.

Snapshot Configuration now allows you to manually type in Windows credentials with Windows authentication. (123033)

Is the prompt error message a known issue when using windows credentials and the 'This account' option to login to Snapshot 9.1.1.486?

It is a known issue. The SCR as specified in the KB is 123033 and it is fixed in 9.2.1 SP 1.
