Workflow Upgrade

Hello, 

 

A customer experienced a server crash and has already migrated to a new server. They also upgraded from version 8 to version 9 and everything LF Client and LF Server related is working fine. 

 

The issue is that the WF DB that they have migrated is still on version 8 and the migration tool does not work because, as mentioned, they have already upgraded LF Server to version 9. 

 

What would be the best way to get the WF upgraded?

The Workflow Configuration Manager will update the database. If you're talking about the Laserfiche Migration Utility, that does not apply to Workflow databases. If you're talking about the Workflow Migration tool, that has nothing to do with the version of the Laserfiche server and is specific to migrations from Workflow 8.0 to higher versions. For any versions after Workflow 8.3, the database upgrade is in-place, part of the configuration process.

Hello! Thanks for the quick reply. 

When trying to use the workflow configuration manager, when i point it to the db for the workflow it says that it is configured for wf version 8.

OK, so they upgraded Workflow from version 8.0 directly to 9?
