Question

Laserfiche Forms Licensing

asked on February 16, 2016 Show version history

Dears,

Please could you provide your feedback on the below.

A Customer wants to purchase a RIO license for 200 users + E-form.

He needs to deploy two RIO Servers (LF-Server-X and LF-Server-Y)  as LF Servers with 100 Licenses Each and he needs to have two Laserfiche E-Form Servers (Forms X and Forms Y), Forms X to connect to LF-Server-X and Forms Y to connect with LF-Server-Y).

Feasible?

Thanks,

Dory

Hi Dory,

I noticed you said deploying two Servers with 100 users each. That's only necessary if you are using repository named user licenses for everything. If you use domain users, or (as of 10) Laserfiche directory service users defined and controlled in the Laserfiche Directory Server, you don't need to allocate user slots out to the individual Servers and repositories.

Forms allows for unlimited installations in Rio. Only the Forms Portal feature is licensed per instance.
