Question

9019: Invalid object name

asked on December 16, 2015

Does anyone know what some good troubleshooting steps would be for this error? The user gets it when they are logging into the the thick client. It is a new temporary user on a RIO system.

I was going to recommend restarting the Laserfiche Server Service but its a big client so want to be sure that is a logical step.

First try removing the Laserfiche attributes for the user. Back them up first, you can back them up by exporting them from the admin console.

Is the issue windows account specific?  If you go to another machine, login with the original windows credentials, does the issue follow the user to the new machine? If another windows user logs in with their windows credentials on the problem machine, does the issue occur for that new user?

It would be the windows profile that is corrupted.  You need to go to the Domain controller, delete and recreate the account

It does appear to follow him when he logs in to a different PC and uses Windows Authentication in Laserfiche. What is the fix? Recreate the windows profile? Or removeLaserfiche user attributes?

He doesnt want to recreate the windows profile because,

"He has a domain account but it is loaded as a local account on his PC and any new PC he signs on to. When he tried on another computer he still had the issue after it loaded a new local account so I don’t think this will fix the issue. Is it possible resetting his LaserFiche profile might help? Thanks!"

So Im having him clear attributes first. Will update again.
