Forms 10 error The requested service (IAutoTrigger) may not be running.

posted on December 2, 2015 Show version history

We are getting the following error anytime we try to save changes to a form: The requested service (IAutoTrigger) may not be running. [LFF3004-UnableToOpenServiceProxy]. We have seen it when changing the publish status and also when attempting to save the process diagram.

Did anyone find the solution for this?

I saw that you can reboot the server to fix it but it keeps happening.

I'm currently having this issue too. By chance, did you all find a solution?

Not yet, it still happens occasionally but seems to save so I've ignored it absent guidance from Laserfiche. I haven't reached out to a VAR.

Interesting. I ended up resolving mine. When Laserfiche helped setup our validation and production, they did it differently. I was basing it on validation and thus my error. It also kept saying Workflow wasn't licensed, even though we have the Rio package.

I reached out to my reseller and he suggested I go into the Workflow Configuration Manager and check the Monitored Repositories.

I removed the attached repository and then added the same repository but typed the url of the server. It originally was the host name(basing it on our validation environment). This resolved my issue and I didn't see anymore errors in the Event Viewer.

Not sure if this helps you but wanted to share!

Did anyone figure this one out? I am having this issue, too when I try to save a change to the process. The change does save but this error comes up and it doesn't create an instance. Thanks!

Did anyone find a solution for this? I am seeing the same thing on a fresh install loading the forms config page.

Seems multiple people are having this issue - and now one of our clients is experiencing this issue as well.  @Laserfiche - do you have any input on why this is?

Thank you!
