Can you use Laserfiche and Quick Fields in a VDI environment?

We're currently exploring a Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) environment for our next IT upgrade. The biggest determinant will be Laserfiche and Quick Fields, because they support our core business processes. Could we use both programs if we did move to a VDI environment?

(Note: For compliance reasons, we cannot use Laserfiche Cloud)

Hi Kendra,

Laserfiche as an application is unaware if it's deployed in a virtual environment. It just sits on the operating system that is deployed within the VM. As long as the OS is supported by LF then technically speaking it's a supported configuration.

If it helps, we have many customers using VDI with Laserfiche & Quick Fields with no reported issues. The majority of customers are using VDI windows 7 x64 with VMWare Horizons but we also have a handful of Citrix users also.
