Laserfiche Version 10

Hello, 

 

We were looking at creating a project plan to upgrade our customers to Laserfiche Avante 9.2.1. Upon checking the website I released that just a couple of days ago there was a release of Laserfiche 10. I have a couple of questions regarding that. 

 

1. Where can i locate documentation for upgrading clients as well as the Administrator Guide and User Guide. 

2. A large number of our clients are still using some modules that are version 8.0-8.3 Such as Audit Trail 8.2, QuickFields 8.0.2 etc... Will an upgrade directly to 10 be possible or will there have to be an intermediate step before?

3. Any compatibility issues known so far with regards to running in Windows 10?

1. The upgrade guide will be released soon. You'll be able to download it from the front-page of https://support.laserfiche.com.

2. You can perform a direct upgrade of all products from an 8.x version to 10. Quick Fields 10 has not yet been released, however. That is scheduled for a release next year.

3. There are no known compatibility issues with Windows 10 when using Laserfiche 10. There's an issue with the Barcode add-on and Quick Fields, however. We are working on that.

Social BPM 10 is not officially supported on Windows running IIS 10 (i.e. Windows 10)
