Question

Configure Device Settings "No Devices Found"

asked on October 9, 2015

I recently found this issue with a client's new DRG1100 Canon scanner not being read.  They were previously using another scanner which is still setup and it is not able to read that one as well in the Device selection.  It also just freezes LF Scanning and has to be closed through Task Manager.

Side note:  I found this post as a work around.  But this is not going to work with this client.

Which scan engine are we talking about here? Are the drivers installed? If it's ScanConnect, usually ISIS drivers need the scanner on and connected before the computer is booted up.

Yes ISIS drivers for ScanConnect.  I had her perform a restart and make sure the scanner was online and ready before booting her computer again.  Issue persisted.

Even so,  if there were no proper devices found if it can't recognize the ISIS driver.  What would cause the lockup?

Does the scanner work with Testappn.exe outside of the LF client/scanning?
