A client is asking a question about how Quickfields would be licensed in this environment. I am not locating any information about this setup, but since Quickfields is officially supported on Windows Server platforms I figured I would ask. Would accessing Quickfields without Agent from multiple concurrent sessions work from a technical standpoint? Is this is in the spirit of Laserfiche licensing?

The Quickfields license (without Agent) allows for 1 session to run at a time. If you try to access multiple sessions, even from different profiles, only the first instance of QF will open. All others will be displayed an error that states that Quickfields is already running.
So while you can install QF on a TS server, it will still limit to just a single instance running on that machine at a time.

Maybe this would be a good possible feature request! I know we have had customers ask if it was possible to purchase QF instance licenses, so they could install it on a TS server and have 2 or 3 people running sessions. But at this time, if they buy multiple licenses, it requires a individual machine/QF installation for each license.
