Unable to add any new documents

Using Windows 7 with LF 8.3.2, I am unable to add any documents to Laserfiche. Cannot drag and drop, cannot connect to scanner, and snapshot gives an error message that states "Unable to create document". I have uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times. The scanner Icon at the top of the client (and under File) is grayed out and not clickable. When trying to drag and drop the red circle with line through it appears next to the file. When printing using Snapshot, I am able to name the file and pick the destination but see the error message when I click OK. Any help and advice is appreciated.

Can you confirm that the user you are logging into the repository as has rights to import or can create new documents in the specified location? The user would also need rights to the volume that the new document is going into.

The user has full rights to all of the files, they can open, move, delete, and edit them, just not add any new ones.

Check the effective rights on that folder for that user in question and confirm that "create documents" is granted?

If that's the case then contact your reseller to open a support case for the matter.

Have you assigned the Named Licenses to devices instead of users?  If so, did the new PC get a Named License assigned?
