Hi , How do I retrieve the license for A laser fiche Rio v9 ,Our server had problems and can't be started therefor we formatted the server without doing deactivate for the license please tell me how to retrieve it if you had such a case before .

If you have the old .licx key somewhere you cans open it with a text editor and see the Host Fingerprint.

An .licx file is a XML file, it'll be under <hostfingerprint>[your hw key here]</hostfingerprint>

And remember, if the License Manager was installed on a different machine and this machine is just a server you can delete/recreate the lice yourself in there.

my problem has been solved I installed every thing in the server the same way it was before the up crash in order to get the Hardware fingerprint and then deactivate the license thank U very much ..

Hi Abdallah Hamid ,

In the last case if you are update with the LSAP you can sent o chat with laserfiche support and they can give you these data.
