4. For testing purpose, we want to have a test repository, however with RIO, we can't have two license manager, what recommendation in order to make the test server

5. How to back up our workflows

For your points on requirements and backup you can check out the helpfiles at https://www.laserfiche.com/support/webhelp/workflow/9.2/en-us/LFWorkflow.htm#Resources/Configuration/Installation and Migration/Installation and Setup Overview.htm%3FTocPath%3DInstallation%7C_____1 and https://www.laserfiche.com/support/webhelp/workflow/9.2/en-us/LFWorkflow.htm#Resources/Configuration/Backing Up Workflow.htm%3FTocPath%3DBest%2520Practices%7CBacking%2520Up%2520Workflow%7C_____0

3. Workflow doesn't need it's "own" repository, you set it to monitor/act on an existing repository to perform actions. So if you want it to perform actions in your main repository, that will be fine.

4. You don't need multiple license managers; with RIO you can just create a new repository to test your workflows on an existing server.
