Based on your description of the problem, it sounds like you would be able to utilize the Pattern Match feature along with the Zone OCR to parse out the information you are looking for.  This method would utilize the regular expressions to identify the content you want. That would be the recommended way to work with changing field sizes. 

I noticed you posted a very similar question two days ago.  On that post, my associate Cathy provided references to the Pattern Matching Help File to help you get started with configuring Pattern Matching for your system.  She also mentioned an alternative consideration to configure the pixel to percentages with changing image sizes.

I also wanted to add a quick note regarding Laserfiche.  The system is capable of storing any file size so there is no need to shrink the image.  If possible, the alternative route would be to address why the images are shrinking in the first place.
