I'm trying to convert to B&W a document that contains 2 pages and is 8MB in size. I was able to convert 1 of the pages, but the other page keeps throwing an out of memory message. The page that's unable to be converted is 7MB in size.

Please open a support case with your Laserfiche reseller. It'd be helpful if you can provide a copy of the document, the version of PhotoDocs being used, and the amount of RAM on the workstation.
Known issue
There are built-in image size limitations specific to PhotoDocs. These limits are not applicable to other Laserfiche products.

The ability to process images in PhotoDocs may be further limited depending on the amount of RAM on the workstation, among other factors.
Workaround 1
If you encounter processing errors in PhotoDocs when you select multiple images (pages) for batch processing, you may be able to avoid some errors by selecting and processing a single page at a time.
If these errors occur sporadically, you may be able to avoid some errors by closing and then reopening PhotoDocs.

You can convert images into black-and-white if you have Quick Fields or Snapshot.
