How to use pilot portal user licenses

asked on June 30, 2015

Hello!

I have my 25 pilot portal licenses assigned to the server housing my public repository. WebLink itself sits on a separate web server. How do I configure WebLink to automatically login using those 25 licenses? Do I have to create users under that repository and give them "read only". If that's the case, how does WebLink automatically log in the different accounts? When I was using the WebLink Admin Utility, you can only specify one account to automatically log in with.

Help me Obi Wan Kenobi! I've been trying to figure this out for like a week.

Hi Cole,

In your repository, you can create a generic "public" repository user. Make sure it is read-only and not a named user. Then in WebLink, configure a dbid to automatically log in as this user. Now up to 25 users should be able to automatically log into WebLink as this "public" user at any given time.
