Question

6604 - failed to load image. unknown format

asked on June 12, 2015 Show version history

Hello,

I have a question, I was doing some test in migrating a laserfiche 5 to 9.2, I finished the test and everything was great, but then I saw that some images had an error 6604 - failed to load image. unknown format (image attached). I did checked the path and volume, and the image is there, and the image is also in the correct format, the tiff format, so why this error is coming up??, I notice that if I enter the image using "Paint" and save it again in tiff , when I go to lasefiche , and check , the image appear again, not showing the error anymore.

So is there a way to fix this?, or to fix I would have to go image by image to save everything again?, even the images being tiff already?

Thanks for the information and help.

Wish you all a good day.

Best Regards,

Vitor

Were you able to resolve this? I am having same issue after moving my database from one server to another. Some files display this error while others don't.

It's likely that not all your volume paths are accessible from the new server. You can check what volume this document is in and then double-check the volume location through the LF Admin Console.

Hi Rani,

Check what Miruna said, because my problem at the time was resolved in Laserfiche 10. When we upgraded we did access the image without any problem, and so far it is working well.
