We are having an issue with Snapshot and Adobe that almost seems like a print spooling issue - but it only occurs when snapshotting PDFs. If the afflicted users/machines snapshot an email, word doc, browser window, etc. it works fine - but when trying to snapshot pdfs experiences a huge delay (at times 5 minutes...). At this point we've viewed it as a machine issue and given the users new machines - which, of course, resolves the issue. That's a costly solution though as this is becoming more and more prevalent in-house - hoping there is something else to look at... Has anyone else seen this - have a solution?

Adobe/Snapshot Issue

That was not it - the name for the majority of people with this issue is less than 20 characters. I will keep that in mind for future issues though - thanks! The Adobe Print As Image option has resolved this and is what we will implement for staff having this problem with Adobe/Snapshot printing. Grrr... to yet another issue with Adobe (when Snapshotting) though! Thank you so much for all your help.
If you go to the Snapshot Print Properties > Advanced tab are they set to "Spool print documents"? Try setting it to "Start Printing immediately" or to bypass the print spooler and "Print directly to printer".
Start Printing Immediately did not resolve and it wouldn't let me apply Print Directly to Printer as an option. Am now trying the Advanced settings on the print dialog box to use Print As Image to see if that resolves - which would be an adobe setting. Any other suggestions?
How long is the print job name? Black Ice has issues with print job names that are longer than 142 characters (Ref: https://support.laserfiche.com/KB/1001082). If this does apply to try shortening the print job name as well as setting it to "Print directly to printer" if "Print as image does not work."
Are the machines with the issue using the same version of Acrobat? Have you tried a newer version as well?
