Question

autodiscover service couldn't be located

asked on May 22, 2015

In a workflow I'm creating, I have an activity "Create Exchange Item" attempting to write an entry in a user's calendar. However, I can't get past the configuring of the web service. I keep getting the error (the title of this). I've configured LF Web access (see picture) as it should be, according to what I've googled. I'm sure this is an instance of Exchange being cranky. Can anyone help?

Thanks

John H

Hello Folks: It turns out that the error message was somewhat misleading. I changed from explicit credentials to 'default', see picture, and the error disappeared. The workflow still doesn't write calendar items, but I will get to the bottom of that.

Thanks for your help,

John H

Did you ever get to the bottom of this?

Is the Exchange Web service available outside of Workflow? Are you able to open the Exchange Web Service URL independent of Workflow?

Well, when I put that url in the browser, it takes me to a login screen for exchange, then re-routes me to a bunch of xml. So it IS a valid url.

I did look at that thread, Tommy, and the url is the same as I have in mine (https://server/ews/exchange.asmx).
