Laserfiche Snapshot Issue: Always using the same default profile even if user changes it?

Hi All, 

 

Client is using Snapshot to send files to specific folders in the repository. But, when that is set, the file goes to another folder in the repository? 

i.e Client is sending files using snapshot to a Clerk folder, but when snapshot is used, it is going to General folder? 

This is occurring on all users. 

The following has been tested: 

1. Selecting "Use Local Machine Profile" under profile manager does not make a difference

2. Checked if the file is created in both destinations (just a check)

3. Made sure the user have read/write access to the folder. (this was also tested with admin user)

 

The LF client version is

9.0.3.798

 

Anything else that can be trialled?

The Snapshot current user configuration had been set to save documents to a specific folder, but also to prompt users for properties after the document is printed.

The issue was that when a user Snapshots a document, the prompt for document properties appears as it normally would, but when he changes the path to store the document to, this would get ignored and continue storing the document into the folder that's set in the default Snapshot configuration.

There may have been some sort of conflicting registry entry that was causing this issue. The resolution involved deleting the HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Laserfiche\Snapshot8 registry key and reconfiguring Snapshot. A repair of Snapshot had also been done although it's unclear if that was necessary. However, now the user could save the Snapshotted document into any selected folder regardless of what's configured in the default Snapshot configuration.

That was just tested, same thing occurs, still goes to the same folder always.
