I have a PDF (see attached) where I have changed the property of a field in the PDF to Format as currency.  I saved the document and when I open the PDF and fill it out the number appears as currency (with comma and dollar sign).  In a LF workflow I reference this PDF make a copy of it, retrieve field values and populate the PDF.  The problem is the currency formatting is not being applied.  If I open the PDF and retype the number the formatting is applied.

I am attaching the editable and fillable original PDF and the PDF that was completed populated by workflow.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as this is driving me nuts!
