Having Demo license while scanning

Hi everybody,

I am actually using a demo license for LF AVANTE Server. I am using a HP N9120 scanner to scan documents to laserfiche. I have already registered the scanner VRS license and obtained a Registration code but still getting a demo watermark on all documents scanned.

How do I know that Kofax VRS licenses are fine and will work with Laserfiche Scanning?

Is HP N9120 scanner designed to be used with KOFAX VRS scanning in Laserfiche or TWAIN?

Will the Demo watermark disappear after addition of the client's live licenses?

Yes the DEMO watermark will disappear after adding a full license. All other functionality is identical.

Are you talking about a watermark in the LF repository or on the image at time of scanning?

You can use the Kofax demo application to scan using VRS outside of the Laserfiche environment to see if Kofax is working properly or placing a watermark.

If you are using your VAR license, any LF (TIFF) document in the repository will show a demonstration watermark. This is a limit of the VAR license and applies no matter how the document gets into the repository (Scan, Import, Snapshot, etc.).
