Laserfiche Connector and Weblink Licensing

We have a customer who wants to use Weblink for internal access (due to the need for a large number of read-only licenses) and the Laserfiche Connector. Can the read-only users (who have no named licensing in the Laserfiche System) take advantage of the Laserfiche Connector?

Hey James,

Once Connector has launched the Lf application (in this case WebLink), authentication is handled as the user would normally do so. So yes, the read-only user would be able to take advantage of Laserfiche Connector to run searches through WebLink.

Hello - just would like to clarify - so if your using Weblink to do your search via the Connector, you do not need a named user?  You can in fact utilize one of the concurrent Portal licenses?
