If I deactivate and move License Manager from one server to the other, will I need to re-generate all the Licenses for the existing servers? I'm guessing I will as they won't know where to find License Manager anymore?
Steps will be....
To detach your licensing database
- Open the Laserfiche License Manager Administration Console.
- Expand the Laserfiche License Manager node, and select your License Server.
- Select your licensing database.
- Right-click, or open the Action menu, and select Detach Licensing Database.
- Confirm that you want to detach the database. The database will be detached in place, and the .db file will remain in its current location.
To unregister your license server
- Open the Laserfiche License Manager Administration Console.
- Expand the Laserfiche License Manager node, and select your License Server.
- Right-click, or open the Action menu, and select Unregister License Server.
- Confirm that you want to unregister your server.
Install on new server, activate and restore the licensing database. (Also attached detailed instructions).
