Snapshot - Folder browser component could not be loaded

I have a user running Windows 8.1 Pro (64 bit). 

The user is using Snapshot version 13.77.558

The user now receives the following message when attempting to select a folder from the "Laserfiche Snapshot" window: 

"The folder browser component could not be loaded."

I am unable to resolve this issue.

Does anyone have any suggestion?

Hey all!


I was helping a user who is on LF version 10.0 and they were having the same issue!  We just ran a repair of LF Client and that fixed the issue!  Hope this little bit of information helps anyone with similar issues!

What is the current version of Laserfiche that is installed? When I ran into this issue I updated the client to version 9.1.1 from 9.0.x and that resolved the issue for me. You may have to run a repair or uninstall and re-install the Laserfiche Client along with Snapshot.

Hello Cristobal: 

I haven't resolved this issue, but I'm going to upgrade from 9.1.1.548  to  9.2.0.485(SP1) tomorrow evening - hopefully this will resolve the issue.  I'll post my findings.

Hello Richard: 

Yes, upgrading the software resolved this particular issue. 

Hopefully it'll be the same for you.
