We just recently upgraded to 9.1  We currently load photos from a photo disc or photos from a folder into LF.  Have heard staff having issues with uploading the photos into LF and have done my own testing.  Not sure why the Adobe is attaching to the photo uploads.  The Adobe doc? keeps the name I entered and then the actual photos are not properly named.  Please see example.

Can you please explain what you mean by "Adobe is attaching to the photo uploads"?

Looking at your screenshots, I see two things that are strange:

  1. The suggested document name is DsCN2051.jpg~RF19cfe91 , which looks like one of the selected files is a temp file that is created by an application while you are editing a document. Do you have one of the images open in an application? Does this happen if you only select a couple of photos?
  2. It seems that you want  to import many pictures, but you only end up with one document. What are the pages of that document? Is there a single page that is one of your selected images?

 

Edit: The latest screenshots make more clear what issue you are encountering: the file type of the imported document is being interpreted as something other than a JPG. However, I still have some of the same questions:

  • Do you have one of the images open in an application?
  • Does this happen if you only select a couple of photos?
