"MMC has detected an error in a snap-in" when trying to access multiple volumes' properties

I have a logical volume with multiple physical volumes under it. When I try to access the properties for multiple physical volumes (i.e. to set them all as read-only), it receive an error message that says "MMC has detected an error in a snap-in. It is recommended that you shut down and restart MMC."

I've tried this with the same results on a 9.2.0.343 Server/Administration Console as well as a 9.1.1.486 version. Is this a bug or intended behavior? Thanks!

This is a bug that has already been filed. You can modify the property for each volume individually or you can implement the workaround mentioned in this thread.
