Can eForms Enterprise for Avante license allow form public submission for LF forms?

Hello Everyone

The client will have forms created for public and for LF users.   The question is, will eForms Enterprise for Avante License support both scenarios?      

 

if Not what do we need?

With Avante, the client can get Standard Forms, which will allow Laserfiche users to access the client’s forms. To enable publicly available forms, the client will also need Forms Portal. Forms Portal allows users without Laserfiche credentials to fill out forms, and it has no limit on submissions.

Hello Tanya

My question was more geared towards understanding what "eForms Enterprise for Avante License" stands for?  Is it standard form licensing?  will it cover puplic portal?  Sales has quoted this to client but I don't seem to find any information as to what this (eForms Enterprise for Avante License) covers.

You may want to get with the person that did the quote to make sure the Forms Enterprise Portal is correct in an Avante system.  I do not find it in my Avante product listing.  I do find the Forms Enterprise Portal listed as a Rio option and it is defined as:

 

Allows anonymous form submission from unlicensed (public) users. Unlimited installations.

 

With Forms, there are 2 parts.  LF Forms for authenticated access and LF Forms Portal for anonymous access.  You must have LF Forms in order to get LF Forms Portal.  LF Forms allows for unlimited installations while the standard Forms Portal only licenses 1 installation of the Forms Portal per license purchased.  With the Enterprise Forms Portal, you can install as many Forms Portals as you want/need.

 

Maybe someone from Laserfiche can way in on weather the Enterprise Forms Portal is avalable with the Avante licensing.

In our pricing list it is listed as "Laserfiche eForms Enterprise for Avante", but I can't find an explanation for it.

 

I may assume that in comparison to Rio, it maybe the same except its for single install.  My experience with assumption is not very good.  I hope Laserfiche ways on this.

Your price list seems to be out of date (no released version of Forms was referred to as eForms). You can get an updated one from the VAR site.

To answer Bert's question, Enterprise Forms Portal is only available for Laserfiche Rio. Laserfiche Avante only offers instance licensing for Forms Portal.
