Question

Directory Server 9.2 Licensing

asked on November 13, 2014

In Admin Console I tried to add a license to a user, Approver, but it's saying the number of registered repository named users has reached its licensed limit. Then I added a license in Directory Server for a windows account that I'm linking to Approver. When I try to sign in as Approver it says the same thing. I'm not sure why it's not working. It's a new Rio 9.2 setup. There's 2 licenses allocated to windows accounts. One of the windows accounts is linked to the Approver account to see if it works. There's 23 other licenses.

Please confirm that you have allocated a repository named user license to that Laserfiche Server application instance. If that hadn't been done yet, then please do so and generate a new Laserfiche Server license to use. Now you should be able to assign a repository named user in the Laserfiche Administration Console.

The other option is to forego linking the windows account to the Laserfiche user account and just configure the windows account directly under the Windows Accounts node in the Laserfiche Administration Console.
