Is Laserfiche 8.1 compatible with SQL 2012 or 2014?

I had a customer that is still on version 8.1 and wanted to move their databases to a new SQL server. They are shooting for 2012 or 2014. If there are compatibility issues for the database could they run the DB for a compatible mode with the higher version of SQL?

It should work fine. We don't go back and test older versions of the software with newer versions of SQL (which is why you only see it listed as of 8.3 and up).

SQL 2012 or 2014 were not supported until Laserfiche 8.3. See here.
