Migration from 7.2 to 9.2 with new server installation

Looking into migrating a customer from 7.2 to 9.2.  Along with this, the 9.2 will be installed on a new server.  I’m assuming that I will need to run the LF 9 migration tool on the existing repository.  Can I move the repository & SQL data from the old server without installing FL 9.2 on that machine?  If so, are there any steps beyond detaching the SQL database?

hi guys,

i have a doubt about the LS7 server during migration. How I can disable it? is automatically disabled when I install LS9?
