Compatibility with Forms 9.2 upgrade

If Forms is updated from 9.1 to 9.2, will there be compatibility issues if the Laserfiche server is not updated?

According to the Forms 9.2 Release Notes:

Software Requirements 

Laserfiche Server
•Laserfiche Forms requires version 9.0 or higher of the Laserfiche Server.
•Laserfiche Forms is not compatible with standalone editions of Laserfiche (Executive, Desktop, etc.).
